1st Application – Late April

Fertilome Crabgrass Preventer Plus Lawn Food 20-0-3 is a unique combination of slow release lawn food with trace elements.  The pre-emergent crabgrass control of Team is on of the best pre-emergent weed control products available.

Apply early before soils temp reaches 55 degrees.  Water in to activate the crabgrass preventer.  Note: Do no rake after application as this will disturb the preventer’s effectiveness.

2nd Application – Mid May

Natural Guard Activator will give your lawn a natural boost.  It speeds up the rebuilding of your lawn while it breaks down thatch an grass clippings.  The nutrients are then returned to your soil.

Water after application.  For best results repeat in 90 day.  For flower beds and gardens or patio containers, see bag for proper application.

3rd Application – Early June

Fertiome Weed-Out Weed Killer & Lawn Food 25-0-4 is an excellent post-emergent broadleaf weed control.  It contains 3 weed killers, called Trimec, to stop dandelions and over 200 broadleaf weeds.

Do not mow your lawn prior to application.  Lawn must be wet prior to application.  Do not mow for 48 hours after application, this allows the weeds to absorb the weed killer.

4th Application – Late August

Fertilome classic with trace elements 16-0-8 - Plant food that last for up to 2 month.  Slow release nitrogen reduces lawn growth and grass clippings.

Apply to lawn and water in.

5th Application – October

Fertilome Winterizer 10-0-14 is your late fall feeding.  This is your most important feeding because a healthy stable lawn can endure the hardship of winter better. Winterizer builds stem strength and disease resistance and lawns come out quicker and thicker in the spring.
